As a yacht painter, you play a crucial role. Thanks to your work, the yacht looks stunning inside and out, and your craftsmanship ensures proper wood and metal preservation. Are you the one who can apply that perfect coat of paint?
The Yacht Painters department ensures that the interior and exterior of the superyachts are finished with a high-quality paint system and a flawless topcoat. The department consists of Foremen, Work Planners, QC/QA staff, and skilled specialists.
As a Superyacht Painter, you’ll deliver top-quality work. Your responsibilities include:
- Applying smooth layers of filler and spray work that meet the specific Feadship standards and quality requirements.
- Spraying, priming, filling, staining, lacquering, and topcoating designated areas onboard and/or assigned (loose) components and furniture of the superyacht.
- Working independently while being part of a team, always ensuring the quality of your work.
- Maintaining order, cleanliness, health & safety standards, and taking action when necessary.
- MBO level 3 or 4 (Intermediate vocational education) in a relevant field such as painting, industrial finishing, coatings specialist, or similar.
- Relevant knowledge and hands-on experience with high-quality filler and spray work.
- Experience with various paint types, techniques, and systems.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Flexibility to complete tasks within regular working hours.
